Code Monkey Ramblings

So an Iranian couple and their son, who are residents and a citizen of Canada respectively, are being detained in the United States for God only knows what reason. It seems to me that our government is awfully good at harassing people are not likely to be a real threat to our country, but has a very bad habit of missing the people who are dangerous. It'll stop families like this one, while allowing CAIR to openly agitate against the United States from a religious extremist point of view. Who knows, maybe the family involved has some sort of connection to terrorists, but that connection has not been published yet, and I for one am not going to simply assume that the system got it right here. The government should come out and explain itself, but fat chance of that ever happening.
