I got my copy of Halo 3 last night, and I have been playing it for much of the day. I'm at the point where you are about to storm the citadel to attack the Prophet of Truth. It's an amazing game, and a fine ending for the trilogy. In fact, it makes you wonder what Microsoft is going to be able to do for an encore. Gears of War 2? I'm not entirely sold on that one, though Gears of War is a very good game. For those who are wondering, yes, it is a very good reason to go out and buy an XBox 360.

Good thing video games aren't addictive like golf or firearms. ;)
Like drugs...
*winks*
Toodles,
Wonder Woman :)
I must say I am impressed that you were able to peel yourself away from the game long enough to post about it (Or was that the Mrs that made you put it down?) Either way it is good to know we haven't lost you.
I saw 3 or 4 kids standing in line the other day for this game. They had chairs laid out in front of the store.
For those who are wondering, yes, it is a very good reason to go out and buy an XBox 360.
I don't think that excuse would work with my wife.
I'll bet you bought yours BEFORE you got married.
I did, but she also insisted that we pick up a Wii because there were games for that that both of us wanted.
I just put it down. I didn't want to beat the whole game in one day.
I would like to point out that -I- got Mike into Halo 2. I had the game and played it, and Mike started to play it and he was hooked. He didn't have an XBox before he realized just how incredibly cool I was and then wanted one for himself. :) It was -all- me. Just taking credit where it was rightly earned. I love video games, both of my parents are engineers and were playing video games ever since I can remember. I had a PS2 and an XBOX before we were married and the older consoles are at my parents' house since they technically belonged to the family, not me. I don't mind him playing Halo, as long as he takes care of his responsibilities, such as going to work. I have been known to play video games non-stop myself. We even have a savings plan for a PS3! I am the coolest (or is that dorkiest?) wife ever!
