And neither does the Bible contain any age of consent, allowing marriage at any age. It requires marriage before sex, forbids homosexual sex and bestiality, and discourages divorce and polygamy. Men are taught to love their wives and cherish them, which precludes abuse, no matter what age they may marry.
If Islam is better than Judaism and Christianity, it must do better than the Bible. So, it's a bit shocking to find Muslims justifying sodomy, bestiality, rape, torture, prostitution, etc. Here we are supposed to believe Islam is a peaceful religion... Does the Quran allow these things?
The Bible, however, requires parents to protect their children from men and women who want to commit sexual sin with them, and that includes pedophilia. It also says that "whoever harms one of these little ones it would better that he tied a millstone to his neck and threw it into the sea."
