Rachel and I will be voting for McCain, since both of us are scared of the cult of personality that Obama is building up around him. She also took time to vote for Ron Paul in the primary, which was enough incentive for me to agree to not consider Obama back before he started acting like he was the second coming of Jesus Christ. Neither of us are crazy about McCain, but after talking to her a lot about Obama, I think that the guy is actually seriously dangerous--more so than McCain. Also, as previously stated, I don't vote libertarian anymore in presidential elections because I don't want to encourage them to shoot so high.
Now that we've gotten things back under control around here, Rachel's been able to start cooking. Damn that woman can cook a mean sweet potato and pork roast! Yeah, I feel lucky to have a woman can cook and loves cooking for me. It's pretty cool to read a lot of these stories about women behaving badly and to have an exception to what is increasingly becoming the rule as my wife!

I can agree with you there. I tend to think that McCain is the lesser of two evils. I also voted for Dr Paul in the primaries and if I didn't feel like keeping Obama out of office was so important I would write-in Paul. I don't like Bob Barr, the Libertarian candidate otherwise he would be a viable alternative.
Hey, thanks for the cool new plugins btw, that's what brought me here in the first place.
Glad you're finding them useful. If you have any problems, just post them on the pages for the plugins in question, and I'll do my best to get them resolved!
Mrs Wapiti intends to vote for McCain. The Palin choice was genius...shored up his exposed right flank with Evangelicals, and also targets the female vote who we know was planning to vote for HRC for no other reason than she had a vagina.
I'm still holding fast to my refusal to vote for the lesser of two evils by voting for McCain. But I would be a liar if I claimed I wasn't starting to waver. The logic of "a vote for Paul or Baldwin is a vote for Nobama" is pretty powerful, if you are just thinking gamesmanship.
Mike, I cringe at the thought of you (or anyone else, for that matter) voting for Juan. However, I read in another thread that you had an agreement with your wife about voting for him, as a kind of trade-off for her voting for Paul in the primary. I honor your decision to keep that promise, even if it means voting for McAmnesty. ;-)
It was a bit less formal than a real promise or oath; something like "if I take time off of work to vote for Paul, please don't vote for a Democrat." She doesn't particularly like McCain. Neither of us do. She just didn't want me to vote for Obama, which I was strongly considering on "f$#^ the GOP" grounds. After he started acting like the Obamanation of Desolation, I didn't need anymore impetus to not vote for him. I also cannot bring myself to vote for Bob Barr because the truth is, I don't want to encourage the libertarians to run for the presidency when they aren't even winning state legislatures or congressional seats.

Me too. I'm currently not planning on voting at all.
If McCain wins, as I now expect, I'll be hoping he has a heart attack or something five minutes after being sworn in. President Palin would be so much better than the Insane One.
Yeah, yeah, yeah... so I don't like to cook, nor do I cook well. I make up for it COMPLETELY in other areas of my marriage ;-) He doesn't mind, really.
WW ......
I doubt he does, WW... I doubt he does...

I know exactly what you mean. I know one like that. She isn't my wife (and might never be for all I know), but it's nice having her around just the same.
You are a frightening moron who is willfully ignorant. Look, dumbass:
"“Al Qaeda will have to support McCain in the coming election,” read a commentary on a password-protected Islamist Web site that is closely linked to Al Qaeda and often disseminates the group’s propaganda."
That's from a NY Times article today. I hope you can live with yourself if McCain gets elected and innocent children all over the world die because of it. You and others like you are a disease.
People like you do Obama proud...
