It's been a week since I took a stab at converting another WordPress theme to Movable Type, and so I picked the interesting Mad Meg theme. I'm taking a break from working on it right now because the conversion process can be tedious to say the least, but I think it looks pretty damn good so far.

I don't know why anyone is surprised in the leastabout this. It takes a special class of idiot to begin with just to use their real credit card in order to buy access to an illegal strip show.

California is now getting desperate for people who can help it out with the COBOL code that runs its paycheck infrastructure. It would seem to me that the better approach to this problem would be for them to just buy a new package; there have got to be plenty of systems capable of handling this that are COTS (commercial, off the shelf). A purchase that big might actually get the vendor to throw in a free migration support package too.

Does this etch-a-sketch display deserve an honorary designation as "high art" because of the complexity of producing the picture?

Mary-Kate Olsen has attracted the attention of the DEA. It looks like they're not entirely convinced that she's telling the truth when she says that she has no idea where Heath Ledger got some of the drugs that played a roll in his death.

The USPS has lost $1.1B just in this quarter alone. I know that fuel costs, among other things are a factor, but it would help them if they weren't forced to service unprofitable routes at low rates. This sort of thing is one of the problems that divides our country. As much as small communities like to think otherwise, they couldn't have certain services like the postal service without the subsidizing effects brought to them by larger areas.

Pieter Bruegel is always a crowd-pleaser! I always liked "The Fall of Icarus" (apparently not considered a Bruegel anymore) and found "The Tower of Babel" very impressive. The Kunsthistorisches Museum in Wien was a refuge when I was there.

Eerie and prophetic. I like it.

Illegal strip show... bring it on!

Illegal strip show... bring it on!

I don't know how Canada does it, WW, but in the states the only thing you'd be bringing on is about a 10 year felony prison sentence :-P
