Ouch, that's looking to lose an eye..
Its a good thing she is already so close to the ground cuz as soon as she pulls that trigger she is gonna be layed out on it!
Ouch. Another gun control advocate is born, fully secure in the knowledge that guns are too dangerous for intelligent, educated, and fulfilled people to own. Therefore men can't have them either.
She will have a black eye for sure.
So, what I am hearing is... she is holding the gun too close? People, TEACH, EDUCATE, SHOW ... then if one's still THAT retarded, make fun off, poke at, tease :)

The rifle butt (back end) is supposed to be placed against your shoulder, not on top of it.
For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction, and in this case, the pushing of the bullet forward also pushes the rifle back. The force is equally applied in both directions but as the rifle is heavier than the bullet it moves less, and has less force per inch of surface. But the kick can be quite significant, enough to really hurt your shoulder if it is a powerful enough caliber. The way she is holding it means that the force is going to be applied directly to her eye via the scope. It will be one very painful lesson for her (assuming this isn't just a staged photo)
She's holding the rifle like it's a shoulder-mounted rocket launcher. Only an idiot would do that; she's not even close to holding it right. The moment that she pulls the trigger, she's running the risk of being blinded by having the scope sight smack her in her right eye.
Like Mike and Erik said, her mistake is in not nestling the stock of the gun against her shoulder. If she pulled the trigger, the scope would smack her in the head pretty hard. It would severely cut her at least, and might even cause a bone fracture or blindness, depending on how it hit her.
Here's an example of "scope eye".
the butt of the gun is supposed to be in the space between chest end shoulder. The reason why is because the gun has kickback. Kickback is like Newton's laws of gravity. every action has an equal and opposite reaction. so when the gun thrusts the bullet foreward, it thrusts the holder back. If this girl were to fire the gun, it would propel backwards into her eye. that's why the scope is supposed to be so far from your eye. also, she is kneeling. the kickback will make her fall backwards because she doesn't have a steady stance. Hopefully i answered your question:)

I just recently learned how to do the whole bow and arrow thingy. WAAAAY fun, I wasn't even half bad, crazy enough :) And the numbness in my thumb came back finally. LOL
