You must be referring to Primeval...
It's a decent show. They show some interesting crazy creatures, but I've yet to see the writers attempt to delve further into how each species and outside variables influence "evolution" as they see it..

No, I've got a copy of Primeval on my Apple TV. I know the difference. This was a bona fide Physics show.
