I concede that white on black may be hard on the eyes for some, so I am using this metamorph style in the mean time. I want to keep the toolbar which links all of the various pages I've written with my main blog, but most of the styles I converted in the past don't support a toolbar, which limits my options until I have the time to convert some more WordPress themes into styles for Movable Type.

Your blog, your design. And it is not like my blog is much to look at.
But yes, this is much easier.
Just my 2 cents.
(I am not certain whether serif or sans serif is better. I have heard sans serif is easier to read on the screen (as per your blog) and serif on paper but I am not certain of evidence to back this up).
Well, I prefer to not make my blog painful for people to look at :)
Tagline's still difficult to read, but I dig the look. 'Course, green -is- my favorite color, but I'm pretty sure that header up there would look good regardless.
