At least they have an excuse now to create a movie that is entirely focused on special effects and that has absolutely no discernible plot:

This is the sort of thing I wish had been done with the Doom movie. I wish it had had a little less plot and a little more outright mayhem. I just wanted to see some killin', you know?
Maybe the Duke Nukem movie (if it actually gets made) will be a bit more satisfying.
